The patch was acquired at auction, it was described as a “Rare” patch, but no further information was available. Whilst trying to find some information about the patch I stumbled upon a fantastic resource, that being the website crewpatches http://www.crewpatches.com/index.shtml It is the creation of Chris Spain, and contains a wealth of information. I narrowed the search down to one variant shown on the site, and contacted Chris who duly confirmed my thoughts that the patch was a “Crew Souvenir Patch”.
