Two glossy photographs from the V2 test program conducted in the US at White Sands after the war. A postwar test program using captured V2 rockets was conducted, and over a five year period over 60 rockets were launched. They are not dated but are believed to be the "Blossom" variant. The Blossom series of launches were conducted with modified V2's. The rocket was lengthened by one diameter, and the purpose of these was to test out parachute recovery systems
