Another item that can be classed as reasonably uncommon, to rare. It also has a sound recording that is switch activated. Examples of this have been showing up in space memorabilia auctions of late. The thing that first attracted me to it was the lovely chrome finish of the service module!!

As the name implies this is a souvenir item sold in the shop at the space centre. This is one of many that have been sold over the years. I believe it is of a late sixties-early seventies vintage, and not commonly seen for sale these days. The warning message printed in red brings a smile to my face.

Lego have released three LM's, one in 1976, one in 2004, and recently to celebrate the 50th Anniversary in 2019. The one here is from 2004. Amongst the modelling fraternity Lego is quite a divisive subject, some modellers are very dismissive of it and class it as a toy and say that it is not an accurate representation. The faction that enjoy it "upgrade" the standard models", and there are facebook groups devoted to this facet of it.

The Lego Saturn V was released in June of 2017, it contained 1,969 pieces the number that was the same as the year of the moon landing. It was an instant hit and sold out the minute it hit the shops. After the initial sell out it was still difficult to obtain, It cost around about the £110 mark from Lego outlets, and during this period of limited availability examples were seen on e-bay advertised at £300. It is rumoured that sometime in 2020 Lego will retire it.

A cereal packet toy, purchased purely because it reminded me of my youth when all sorts of goodies were to be found in cereal packets and giveaways were to be had if you faithfully saved tokens up and sent them away. It was sold as being from a packets of Premium Cereal, who they are or were I haven't as yet tracked them down yet. The other aspect of this item that attracted me was that the item was sold by someone from Mexico. It is a very small item measuring no more than an a couple of inches square
