Most of the items in this section were acquired during the early stages of my collecting, when I concentrated on collecting plastic model kits. Most have no real “Historical” value, and most were purchased on a whim because they caught my eye. They are not all the items in the collection, but a few I have singled out for inclusion here. They have been divided into four broad categories, with a small description for each piece.

Some of the descriptions of the following items contain the words , rare, uncommon, reasonably and so on. Rare is a word that is used and abused, along with vintage on e-bay. During this phase of collecting I was spending a good deal of time scouring e-bay and various other online outlets for plastic model kits, and this gave me a fair idea of how to classify an items availability, and to give a reasonable assessment of it's "rareness".
