The Apollo Soyuz Test program was a collaboration between the USA and the USSR. It involved a spacecraft from each nation orbiting earth and docking. Whilst docked the crews carried out scientific experiments before undocking and returning home to their respective countries,
The USA used leftover hardware from the Apollo program, the Russians used a Soyuz.
To allow the two dissimilar craft to dock a docking module was designed and carried aloft by the American Saturn 1b launch vehicle.
The model will be constructed using the unused parts from the previous AS-202 Saturn 1b parts with the addition of a docking module
The model was Started in the second week of March 2025 and completed April 3rd 2025, three weeks is an absolute record for me to complete a model.
