Rocketdyne serial number H-7083: This engine was accepted by NASA on February 25, 1966 and installed in position #102 of S-IB-8 by June 22, 1966. After a pair of static firings of S-IB-8, H-7083 was replaced on July 20, 1967 with H-7079 because its LOX seal cavity had become contaminated and required cleaning. After spending time as a flight spare, H-7083 was transferred to the RS-27 conversion program.
